Synopsis & Log Line - FMP

An two minuite short fashion film with models seen flaunting their indervidual, personal style while representating the theme of ‘inclusive fashion’. Often fashion is not portrayed diverse nor is it continually inclusive. This short sequence demonstrates both factors whilst indicating confidence and highlighting the importance of personal expression.

The models are captured through a range of authentic shots with raw out takes included, demonstrating their distinctive looks and optimistic attitudes. The sequence highlights their indervidual confidence that prehaps they have not always had, due to societies unrealistic expectations. The track highlights their upbeat mood and overall positive self-assurance throughout, with the power to transmit this example onto their audience.

Reflection

Writing my log line and synopsis was one of my favourite parts. I loved summing up my piece by giving it a shorter explanation by shortening the summary into a log line so that the meaning behind my piece is explained in short, as some people could be unsure at first.

My log line and my synopsis will be used when I distribute my work onto social media platforms or enter it into any competitions for e.g. to summarise what the audience are watching.

Similarly, to when we visited the Nottingham contemporary art gallery where their synopsis was printed on a stand, usually on the wall for us to read up about after witnessing the installation firsthand.

This was particularly useful when we were unsure on what we had just watched and needed guidance to be able to understand the concept or meaning the director was projecting.
